Job Description

Rapidx Transport Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Transportation Professional to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular checks on the vehicle's systems and components to prevent mechanical failures and ensure smooth operation.
  • Cargo Management: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Experience and Education

While experience is an asset, we welcome candidates with relevant education and training in transportation-related fields. Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and specialized courses are highly valued.

Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The duration of employment is permanent, and the working hours range from 32 to 44 hours per week. English is the primary language used in the workplace.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, we provide opportunities for career growth and professional development.
