Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Commercial Vehicles: Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials within Canada.
  • Routine Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform thorough checks on vehicles before and after each trip to identify potential issues and prevent accidents.
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from vehicles, taking care to secure cargo during transit.
  • Navigating Routes: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid AZ class driver's license.
  • Experience: Previous experience in logistics or transportation an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads and work in varying weather conditions.
Compensation and Benefits
