Project Manager Job Description

About the Role

EMCO Corporation is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for communicating with engineers, contractors, and business owners to create quotations and submittal packages using our take-off software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with engineers, contractors, and business owners to determine project requirements.

  • Create quotations and submittal packages using our take-off software.

  • Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best pricing, delivery, and terms of purchase.

  • Manage project orders and ensure timely delivery.

  • Investigate customer and vendor problems and resolve pricing shortfalls and material returns in a timely manner.

  • Provide excellent customer service and sales experience.

  • Support the Profit Centre team as an expert in projects and product information.

  • Communicate changes in customer business to the Profit Centre Manager and Credit Department.

Requirements

  • College and/or University degree.

  • A minimum of 1 year of related experience in the construction/civil industry.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

  • Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity.

  • Ability to develop comprehensive product and product application knowledge.

  • Excellent customer service and sales experience.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work under tight timelines and multiple deadlines.

  • Valid driver's license.
