Woodworker Specialist

At Bill's Woodcutting Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Woodworker Specialist to join our team.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

About the Job

We are looking for a skilled craftsman to work in construction, renovation, and millwork/pre-fab shopwork. The successful candidate will have experience with building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Work setting: Construction, renovation, and millwork/pre-fab shopwork.
• Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair.
