Job Title: Master Craftsman - Woodwork Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Craftsman to join our team at Bill's Woodcutting Ltd. as a Woodwork Specialist.

About the Role:

This is a full-time permanent position that requires a high level of expertise in woodwork, with a focus on construction, renovation, and millwork/pre-fab shopwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, and ensure accurate measurements and installations.
• Cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, meeting high standards of quality and safety.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems, working independently with minimal supervision.
• Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to meet customer requirements and company standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant work experience, with a strong background in woodwork and construction.
• Valid driver's licence for transportation to job sites.
