Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Team Lead to join our team at Jinya Ramen Bar. This is a permanent position that requires the individual to work 32-40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate special events, such as catering and parties, ensuring seamless execution of menus and service standards.
  • Develop and implement menu plans, accurately estimating food requirements to minimize waste and optimize inventory management.
  • Promote customer satisfaction by preparing dishes tailored to their dietary needs, including food allergies and intolerances.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
  • Provide comprehensive training to staff members on food preparation, cooking techniques, and handling procedures, emphasizing quality and presentation.
  • Supervise kitchen personnel and assistants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, optimizing ordering and minimizing stockouts.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and workspace areas, promoting a clean and organized environment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Education: A college or CEGEP degree is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position working 32-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
