Job Title: Security Lead Hand

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Lead Hand to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Lead Hand, you will be responsible for providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents, as well as investigating routine incidents and responding to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct general tower and parking lot patrols to ensure the safety and security of the general public and clients
  • Write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner
  • Provide high customer service and respond to assistance requests from clients and retail clients
  • Ensure the safety and security of the general public on the property
  • Assist the public with directions within the building and provide information inquiries
  • Sign in and out contractors and assist tenants and the public with use of the wheelchair access lift
  • Closing the desk down for the evening and returning certain building equipment to the control center
  • Crosstraining on all roles, including patroller, operator, and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid/CPR - Level C certification from a WSIB-approved vendor
  • Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination
  • Able to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Minimum 3 years security experience required, or 1 year of demonstrated Security Supervision experience
  • Demonstrates superior customer service skills and able to work independently
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • Able to complete ongoing training as directed by the Site Manager or Client Service Manager
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
