Job Title: Computer Network Technician

Hytech Paper Products Inc. is seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering our local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet
  • Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week

As a Computer Network Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering high-quality services to our customers. You will be required to work under pressure, perform repetitive tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
