Job Title: Production Supervisor - Operations

Wabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and value-added services for freight and transit rail. As a Production Supervisor - Operations, you will play a critical role in leading our production team of 31 skilled workers to achieve high-quality products with minimal process downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold priorities of Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Teamwork, and Leadership.
  • Achieve production results by communicating job expectations, planning, assigning personnel, appraising job results, coaching, counseling, and holding team members accountable for results.
  • Be a team player and solution provider, communicating and collaborating with cross-functional areas (Engineering, Purchasing, Finance).
Requirements:
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing production environment with demonstrated leadership skills, strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.
  • Possess knowledge of working procedures and techniques utilized in a custom fabrication environment.
  • Demonstrate good administrative, customer-service, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  • Possess knowledge of Industry 4.0, Solid Works, PLC, and controls, Fiber Laser equipment nesting software, CNC programming, and tooling, metal fabrication, painting, and various pressure testing.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting ability.
  • Knowledge and implementation of LEAN techniques.
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter; able to work in a highly-demanding role.
  • Excellent attention to detail; excellent organizational skills with attention to task prioritization.
  • Take pride in your work.
What You'll Be Working With:

As a member of the team at Unifin International, you will be responsible for leading our production team of 31 skilled workers. You will be working with one other production supervisor to meet our commitments to our important customers.
