Job Opportunity

A leading startup is seeking a highly skilled Front End Lead to oversee the development of their core platform. This is a full-time role based in Toronto.

This is a small, tight-knit team at a growing startup. The current Front End Lead is transitioning to a new role, creating an opportunity for a talented individual to take the reins and drive the direction of the Front End application. With a focus on autonomy, the successful candidate will have the freedom to demonstrate their expertise and make strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the development of the Front End application, ensuring it meets the company's standards and best practices.
  2. Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize features, and drive the development process.
  3. Implement and maintain CS fundamentals and best practices throughout the application.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the team, stakeholders, and clients.

Requirements

  1. 5+ years of professional experience in React development.
  2. Proven track record of implementing and using CS best practices.
  3. BS+ in CS, STEM, or related field.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Eagerness to learn and grow.

Desired Qualifications

  1. MS+ in CS, STEM, or related field.
  2. Experience with testing and quality assurance.
  3. Background in startup development.
  4. FinTech experience.
