Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Process Engineer Manager to lead our technical teams in developing and implementing cutting-edge processes. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, optimizing production, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Duties and Responsibilities
As a Process Engineer Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing new casting programs, supporting current manufacturing processes, and associated projects;
Assigning work, providing technical guidance, and overseeing resources to meet project objectives;
Coordinating experiments and investigations to improve process and product quality, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery;
Ensuring proper management and revision of metallurgical processes to achieve continuous improvement and eliminate waste;
Leading engineering teams, providing area leadership, and fostering Total Quality behavior and philosophy;
Maintaining effective communication with customers, employees, and other stakeholders;
Identifying, analyzing, and advising on unusual or difficult problems;
Investigating methods of improving metallurgical processes;
Controlling process variables to obtain specified metallurgical characteristics and qualities;
Reviewing production orders and schedules ahead of time to ascertain process/product needs;
Developing or revising standard operational and working practices;
Compiling, storing, and retrieving process engineering data;
Providing technical support to the Business Center;
Actively pursuing the elimination of waste, continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and efficiency;
Troubleshooting processing problems;
Interfacing with production personnel regarding all processing requirements;
Developing and implementing process improvements;
Executing metallurgical evaluations;
Performing quality investigations as required;
Accessing manufacturing feasibility for responses to requests for quotations from customers;
Designing and conducting training;
Executing assigned personal projects;

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a concentration in metallurgical engineering or materials science;
Equivalent work-related experience with continuing education in technical courses;
Fluency in both French and English;
Excellent communication skills – written and oral;
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals;
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the business unit;
Experience in investment or other casting methods preferred;
Work Permit;

Estimated Salary
$120,000 - $150,000 per annum,
based on location and experience.
