The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and serving of meals, as well as maintain a clean and safe dining environment for patients and staff. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation and service, including setting tables, loading dishes, and operating dishwashers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Support dietary staff in the preparation and presentation of patient meals.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and ordering of supplies.
Requirements:
  • Food Safety Certificate or equivalent
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
