Warehouse Assembly Line Worker

Are you looking for a long-term opportunity with the possibility of career advancement? Randstad Canada is seeking a skilled General Labour/Assembly Line Worker to join our team in Burlington, ON.
This is a full-time position that involves using basic hand tools and lifting up to 50 lbs for packaging while being comfortable working with aluminum parts and machinery. If you have experience within a mechanical assembly environment and possess good verbal and written communication skills, we want to hear from you
Company Overview: Our client is a leading manufacturer of aluminum sliding door railings and hardware. They offer a dynamic work environment, competitive hourly pay rate, and opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the selection of proper components to assemble and work accurately
- Operating basic punch press machines
- Packaging assembled parts for shipping
- Material handling of components as needed, ensuring proper packaging to avoid any product damage
- Maintaining cleanliness and good housekeeping at your workstation
- Adhering to company policies and safety rules
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements:
- 6-12 months of experience within a mechanical assembly environment
- Basic knowledge of using hand tools
- Ability to use measuring tapes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Benefits: This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $18/hour, full-time hours, weekly payment on Friday, neat and clean manufacturing facility, dynamic team, and friendly staff.
Work Schedule: The shift schedule includes Monday to Wednesday (8 AM - 4:30 PM), Thursday (7 AM - 4:30 PM), and Friday (8 AM - 3:30 PM). As a bonus, you will finish early every Friday
