About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Engineer to join our team at Framatome. As a key member of our Installed Base Business Unit, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to a young engineering team, while also executing existing steam generator replacement engineering at Bruce Power.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and grow a young engineering team, providing technical guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Execute existing steam generator replacement engineering at Bruce Power, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
  • Liaise with clients and partners to ensure solutions meet underlying needs, providing effective communication and collaboration.
  • Supervise and mentor the Steam Generator Engineering Design Team, providing technical leadership and guidance to solve unique problems and support production of clean, safe, and reliable power.
  • Provide knowledge and oversight for engineering deliverables to support plant lifetime operations, including design, construction, testing, commissioning, plant operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.
  • Provide resolution of technical issues during design, installation, and commissioning phases of projects, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Resource management, work assignment, and support for proposals and estimating, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Track and support team performance on schedule and cost metrics, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovation and excellence.
