About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Systems Engineer to join our team at Home Trade Standards LTD. As a key member of our consulting engineering company, you will be responsible for assisting in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects, carrying out mechanical tests and analyses, and preparing engineering design, drawings, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, and compressors.
  • Estimate costs and materials for mechanical systems and prepare contracts and tenders for clients.
  • Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Test machines and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, and compressors.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Word.
