Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team at Home Trade Standards LTD. This position involves working in a variety of environments, including residential and commercial settings, with a focus on mechanical installations and systems.

Qualifications

Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a related field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the evaluation of mechanical installations and construction projects.
  • Conduct mechanical tests and analyze machines, components, and materials.
  • Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for project specifications.
  • Estimate costs and required materials for projects.
  • Prepare and interpret engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Draft contracts and tenders.
  • Establish standards and schedules for project execution.
  • Oversee maintenance programs and the operation of mechanical plants.
  • Supervise and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects.
  • Test and evaluate machines and equipment.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Word).
