Aircraft Production Worker

Randstad Canada is seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Aircraft Production Workers in the aircraft manufacturing industry in North Saanich, BC.
Key Responsibilities:- Study and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine assembly requirements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and form sheet metal components according to specifications
- Assemble sheet metal parts and components to create sub-assemblies or finished products, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards
- Conduct inspections of assembled components to verify accuracy, quality, and compliance with aerospace industry standards
- Use precision measuring instruments to check dimensions and tolerances, adjusting as needed
- Handle and store sheet metal materials safely, maintaining proper organization and inventory control
- Collaborate with manufacturing team members, including engineers and machinists, to ensure seamless integration of sheet metal components into larger assemblies
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Technical or trade qualifications, certificates, or training are considered an asset
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- More than 2 years of experience in manufacturing, aerospace, warehousing, or construction is preferred
- Proficient in operating a range of hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication machinery
- Capable of interpreting and understanding drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety guidelines
- Must possess and maintain the legal right to work in Canada
- $27/hour (Non-experienced)
- $29/hour to $34/hour (Dependent on experience)
- 8 to 10 week training program provided
- Work as part of an amazing teamwork environment
