About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lawn Care Labourer to join our team at The Better Way Inc. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our outdoor spaces are well-manicured and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Tie and secure plants to prevent damage or loss.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape.
  • Cut grass to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Rake and collect refuse to keep our outdoor spaces clean and free of debris.
  • Remove litter and garbage to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and effective work.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Previous experience in this field of employment an asset.
Work Details
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week.
