Lawn Care Labourer Job Description

The Better Way Inc. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Lawn Care Labourer to join our team. As a Lawn Care Labourer, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions and installations
  • Tie and secure plants to ensure they thrive in their environment
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their appearance and health
  • Cut grass to maintain a neat and tidy appearance
  • Rake and collect refuse to keep our outdoor spaces clean
  • Remove litter and garbage to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to enhance our outdoor spaces
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and effective work
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position
  • Previous experience in this field of employment is an asset, but not necessary
  • Availability for shift or on-call work is required
