Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at KUTHALA GROUP INC. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country, working as part of a two-person team or convoy. You will load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, and oversee the condition of the vehicle. You will also perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and relay information to central dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
