Job Title: Freight Train Conductor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freight Train Conductor to join our team at Canadian National Railway. As a key member of our railway operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight trains across our network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check train systems and equipment prior to train run to ensure safe operation.
  • Receive and communicate train orders to crew members, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Collaborate with train crew members to coordinate train movements and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
  • Prepare and submit train run reports to management, highlighting any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Will train or equivalent experience in railway operations.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to relocate for this position, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
