Job Title: Freight Train Conductor

We are seeking a skilled Freight Train Conductor to join our team at Canadian National Railway. As a key member of our railway operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight trains across our network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check train systems and equipment prior to train run
  • Receive train orders and explain orders to brakemen/women, locomotive engineer and other crew members
  • Communicate with train crew members to aid in the movement and operation of train
  • Prepare train run reports
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
