Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Join Shkoday Abinojiiwak Obimiwedoon in a rewarding role as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant. In this position, you will work closely with our experienced early childhood educators to provide high-quality care and education to young children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess children's development and create personalized learning plans.
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and outings to local points of interest.
  • Order supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with record-keeping and observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems.
  • Discuss progress and problems with staff and submit written observations.
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • Food allergy and anaphylaxis training.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
  • Punctuality, dependability, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and community service providers.
