We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at SG Mann Construction Ltd.
About the RoleThis is a permanent position that requires the candidate to work 40 hours per week in a physically demanding environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction sites, with a minimum of 2 years of experience and no formal education required.
Key responsibilities include preparing layouts according to building codes, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials, as well as scheduling and coordinating work on sites.
The successful candidate will also be required to instruct apprentices and estimate costs and materials for projects.
This role involves working in various locations, including construction sites, and may require travel. The company provides safety equipment, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, and a safety vest.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong judgement, accuracy, reliability, and teamwork skills.
A willingness to travel is also essential, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment is crucial.
The salary for this position is estimated to be $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience.
