About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and team-oriented Customer Service Supervisor to join our team at VG Professionals Ltd. as part of our community outreach program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily operations of our community outreach team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Recruit and Hire Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new team members to support our community outreach initiatives.
  • Estimate Costs and Materials: Conduct thorough cost analyses to ensure that our community outreach programs are running within budget.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Support Social and Labour Market Integration: Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
  • Recruit Newcomers and Refugees: Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or natural disaster to join our community outreach team.
  • Support Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition to ensure that they can fully contribute to our community outreach initiatives.
  • Offer Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees to support their integration into our community outreach team.
  • Support Indigenous and Visible Minorities: Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous and visible minority workers to support their career development and integration into our community outreach team.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a customer service or community outreach role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
