Job Title: Retail Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Retail Meat Cutter to join our team at Costa's Food Market. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
  • Cut and trim meat to standard cuts
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Cut poultry into parts
  • Supervise other butchers and meat cutters
  • Grind meats
  • Train meat cutters
  • Slice cooked meats
  • Prepare special displays of meats and poultry
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a meat cutting or processing environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
