About the Role

The Digital Insights department at Brookfield Renewable is seeking a full-time student for the Fall 2024 co-op term. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the team in delivering digital insights and data analytics services to the business platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the organization's business applications from a data analytics perspective.
  • Analyze and follow service calls through to resolution using the ticket management tool.
  • Provide support in research, troubleshooting, development, and testing as required.
  • Document applications, operational procedures, changes, and interventions in accordance with established standards.
  • Support activity reporting efforts as required.

Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary education program.
  • Completed at least one year of university or college studies in Computer Science, Programming, or any other IT-related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • A good understanding of formal change management and incident management processes.
  • Action-oriented self-driven individual who can perform duties with limited supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong planning, prioritizing, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following: Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Databases (SQL, Oracle), Power Platform, ITIL.

Note: This position requires the employee to be on-site for a minimum of 4 days to perform most effectively.
