Corporate Investigations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Corporate Investigations team. As a key member of our Corporate Security Services department, you will be responsible for conducting complex investigations, providing risk advice, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee and vendor misconduct, including fraud, code of conduct violations, and workplace harassment.
  • Manage civil and criminal cases, serving as the primary liaison with law enforcement agencies.
  • Assess and investigate allegations received through our internal whistleblower hotline.
  • Provide strategic advice and operational support to management in responding to security incidents.
  • Maintain a strong network of internal and external relationships to facilitate information exchange and idea sharing.
  • Prepare and deliver concise reports articulating investigative findings in a professional and unbiased manner.
  • Identify policy and procedural gaps, and develop recommendations to mitigate risk.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of investigative experience, with a focus on fraud, theft, and risk assessments.
  • Established network of private and public sector investigations relationships, including law enforcement agencies and legal professionals.
  • Strong knowledge of privacy legislation, including PIPEDA and the Canadian court system.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective interviews and manage complex investigations.
  • Strong relationship management skills to partner with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and deliver on multiple initiatives.
