Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual customer service representative to join our team at Canada Computers & Electronics. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide in-depth product knowledge to customers, assist with product location, and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and manage incoming shipments, including unloading and stocking merchandise, and ensure products are displayed according to company standards.
  • Store Maintenance: Uphold housekeeping standards to create a clean and inviting store environment, and perform various duties as assigned to support overall store operations.
  • Translation and Content Creation: Translate English texts into French in the areas of marketing, electronics, IT, and retail, and maintain/update the content of the French website, including banners, product descriptions, policies, and advertising materials.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with graphic designers and editors to create advertising materials, and ensure the translation of all descriptions and specifications of products in store are accurate.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of retail sales experience in a similar technical environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in technical tasks related to computer parts, accessories, and consumer electronics.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Language Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in bilingual (French).
  • Knowledge and Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of computer parts and accessories, as well as consumer electronics, and excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
