Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Victoria. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our specimen collection process. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients, explaining the specimen collection process, and ensuring patients have followed necessary test protocol prior to specimen collection.
You will also be responsible for performing phlebotomies, connecting/disconnecting holter monitors, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, and performing ECG tracings. Additionally, you will perform special test collections, such as medical/legal drug screens, paternity tests, and clinical trials, and complete related documentation.
Maintaining client relationships is also an essential aspect of this role, including responding to inquiries and following up on requests. You will also be responsible for completing data entry of required patient demographics, requisition information, and other information related to processing test results.

Salary: $60,000 per year, based on experience.
