About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at M. G. Godbout. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Make beds, change sheets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Cooking and Meal Preparation: Prepare meals for our household staff and family members.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage household supplies, maintain inventory, and perform light administrative duties.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
