Job DescriptionCorporate Data Management Director

This newly developed position will report to the Vice President, Philanthropy, and be responsible for an annual giving portfolio that includes signature events, community events, third-party events, in honour gifts, in memory gifts, and the staff giving program.

The incumbent will establish and lead a community-focused fundraising team and collaborate internally to establish strategies and plans aligned across fundraising streams and with overall goals, ensuring a positive donor experience and maximized revenue portfolios.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Fundraising experience across multiple revenue streams, including events, corporate sponsorships, and mid-level giving strategies.
  2. Experience leading the development and execution of community-based fundraising activities and partnerships.
  3. Demonstrated experience building, mentoring, coaching, and fostering innovation within high-performing teams.
  4. Excellent relationship-building skills and a history of building trusting relationships with donors.
  5. Experience working with data analytics to evaluate and guide planning for increased revenue generation activities.
  6. Public speaking skills and enthusiasm for representing Mackenzie Health Foundation in the community.
  7. Awareness of and sensitivity to the various cultures represented in the York region, along with a commitment to inclusivity, diversity, equality, and accessibility.
  8. Organized, attentive to detail, and effective time management skills.
  9. Experience with Raiser's Edge is considered an asset.
  10. Passion for healthcare philanthropy and community-based fundraising.
  11. Experience working in a healthcare-related environment is considered an asset.
What We Offer

We offer a hybrid work environment, and the hiring range for this position is $102,500 – $143,000 annually, plus benefits.
