We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at LEARN N PLAY CHILDCARE CENTRE INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Maintain daycare equipment
  • Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
Work Environment:

Please note that this is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.
