Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Learn N' Play Childcare. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Maintain daycare equipment and assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Child development assistant (ECE level 1) certification.
