About the Role

At RT Medical, we're committed to delivering exceptional care services to individuals who require assistance with their health and wellness needs. As a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), you'll be part of a dedicated team that provides support to patients in their homes, clinics, and other settings.



Key Responsibilities


  • Assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans with the patient, family, and healthcare team.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make adjustments as needed.
  • Advocate for patients by promoting and protecting their rights.
  • Travel to patients' homes and other settings to provide care.
  • Provide services in a variety of settings, including in-home, clinics, retirement homes, and schools.


Requirements


  • Diploma from a recognized RPN program or equivalent.
  • Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Experience as a visiting nurse, visiting registered nurse, visiting registered practical nurse, and/or community nurse is an asset.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification.
  • Clear criminal background checks and Vulnerable Sector checks are required upon hire.
  • Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful, and courteous manner.
  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and crisis-resolution skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid G2/G driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
