Responsibilities- Vehicle Operation
- Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and oversee all aspects
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Cargo Handling
- Transport and handle dangerous goods
- Maintenance and Reporting
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, including inspection reports and maintenance logs
- AZ class license is required for this role
- Valid driver's licence and a good driving record are essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of transportation laws and regulations
- Work Term: Permanent
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Valid driver's licence required
