Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation
    • Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
    • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and oversee all aspects
    • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Cargo Handling
    • Transport and handle dangerous goods
  • Maintenance and Reporting
    • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
    • Perform emergency roadside repairs
    • Prepare and maintain accurate records, including inspection reports and maintenance logs
Requirements
  • AZ class license is required for this role
  • Valid driver's licence and a good driving record are essential
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of transportation laws and regulations
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Valid driver's licence required

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
