Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) operator to join our team at Manvir Transport LTD. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Responsibilities and Tasks

As an HGV operator, your primary responsibility will be to transport goods from one location to another, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate records of your routes, deliveries, and any issues encountered during transportation;
  • Ensuring that all vehicles are properly maintained and serviced regularly;
  • Following all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures;
  • Communicating effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders regarding any issues or concerns related to transportation;
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid Class 1 driver's license;
  • At least two years of experience operating heavy goods vehicles;
  • A clean driving record, free from major infractions;
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as required by certain jobs;
  • A strong understanding of map reading and navigation skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
