The Registered Dental Hygienist Position:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our client's dental practice in North York. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in digital X-rays and intra-oral cameras, and possess a strong ability to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking digital X-rays and utilizing intra-oral cameras and VELscope technology
- Delivering high-quality patient service through thorough care, effective communication, and personal attention
- Assessing and developing dental hygiene care plans, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planning
- Performing dental hygiene procedures with precision using hand and mechanical scalers
- Conducting general oral health screenings and communicating findings to the Dentist
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Registration with the relevant professional association
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in digital X-rays and intra-oral cameras
