We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth Management Leader to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our wealth management operations in Sault Ste. Marie.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving business growth. You will work closely with our branch director to develop and implement strategies that meet our sales targets and achieve overall profitability.

Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional leadership and support to our investment advisors and support staff. This includes hiring, training, and motivating team members, as well as assessing performance and providing developmental opportunities.

You will also play a key role in promoting our corporate image within the community and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

As a Wealth Management Leader, your key responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Ensuring effective management and supervision of all compliance issues and responsibilities;">
  • Providing clear and consistent communication to team members through regular meetings and updates;">
  • Engaging in high-performance coaching with each investment advisor to drive results;">
  • Developing actionable feedback for team members, whether positive or corrective;">
  • Solving complex problems effectively and dealing with ambiguity;">
  • Superior written and oral communication skills;">
">

Requirements

">

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

">
  • ">
  • A minimum of 2 years of retail brokerage experience with a strong background in investment advising;">
  • CSC and CPH certifications, with the ability to complete the BM license within 3 months;">
  • Post-secondary education, such as a college or university degree;">
  • Proven experience in leading teams, coaching, developing, and motivating others;">
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with ambiguity and managing multiple operations and servicing activities in a fast-paced environment;">
  • Ability to engage a diverse team, including branch staff, middle office, and external partners;">
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and dealing with challenging situations to drive success;">
  • Decisive and results-driven attitude;">
  • RBC Dominion Securities experience and WM Operations and Financial Industry background are considered assets.">

Estimated Salary

">

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
