Job Title: Restaurant Operations Assistant
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Operations Assistant to join our team at Crabby Joe's Bar and Grill, Kitchener. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the management of daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Plan and organize daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management.
- Supervise staff and provide guidance on customer service and food safety procedures.
- Train staff on new procedures and policies to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Leading/instructing individuals to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage events and functions to ensure smooth execution and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office, MS Windows, and Point of Sale system.
- Transportation/travel information: Own transportation.
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, large workload, and overtime required.
- Personal suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, and ability to multitask.
