Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at Pan American Silver Corp. as a Technical Support Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees, troubleshooting computer issues, and maintaining our computer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to employees, including troubleshooting computer issues, setting up new equipment, and resolving software problems.
  • System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on our computer systems, including updating software, backing up data, and ensuring system security.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to prevent future problems.
  • Communication: Communicate technical information to employees, both verbally and in writing, to ensure they understand technical concepts and solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as computer science or information technology.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of computer systems, software, and networking protocols. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position in a fast-paced office environment. You will be working in a team to provide technical support to our employees.
