About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to join our team. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that equipment is in optimal operational condition, performing installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, and conducting pre-commissioning checks for systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that equipment is in optimal operational condition, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Installation and Repair: Install, maintain, and repair equipment, including performing pre-commissioning checks and conducting necessary tests.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers, both within and outside of Canada, by installing and maintaining equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Training and Development: Provide training on systems and processes to customers and colleagues, both in English and French.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate proactivity in problem-solving, offering quality customer service, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: DEP in Electromechanics (Mandatory).
  • Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience as an electromechanic (Mandatory).
  • Licenses and Certifications: C License (an asset), Health and safety card for construction sites, Valid passport for international travel (Mandatory).
  • Language Skills: Bilingual (French – English) (Mandatory).
  • Other Requirements: Excellent technical knowledge in programming, instrumentation, and electricity, Experience with variable speed motor controllers – Danfoss – (an asset), Knowledge of programmable logic controllers – Phoenix Contact – (an asset).
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: Starting from $31 per hour, based on experience + various bonuses as applicable.
  • Flexible Schedule: 40 hours per week (multiple schedules to choose from).
