Job Title: Bilingual Customer Service Representative

Medavie Blue Cross is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Federal Contact Centre, you will provide exceptional service to our members, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and empathy.

About the Role:
  • Provide support and service to our members, responding to inquiries related to health care benefits, program eligibility, and payment-related information.
  • Assess and resolve challenging situations, providing effective strategies to achieve first-call resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Fluency in both English and French, both written and verbal.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with training and education in customer service or health.
  • 2+ years of experience in a contact centre environment, with a strong track record of success.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, Monday to Friday, 7am-10pm.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to multitask and navigate multiple software applications.

Security Clearance:

Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B) through the Public Works and Government Services Canada Department is required prior to the first day.

Remote Work Requirements:
  • Private working area with a locked door and secure locking file cabinet.
  • Approved home network and equipment.
  • Headset required, no speakerphone.
