Job Overview

Clearesult is seeking a skilled Residential Energy Upgrade Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in improving the energy efficiency of homes throughout our territory.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who can work independently and as part of a team to conduct installations of residential energy efficiency upgrades. If you have a passion for energy conservation and excellent customer service skills, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to scheduled appointments within a defined territory to conduct installations and provide product education to customers.
  • Interact with customers to facilitate smooth installations and offer personalized energy-saving tips.
  • Provide technical guidance and training on installation methods, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
  • Contribute to project planning and effectiveness by providing input and status updates to program staff.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Apply insulation in residential buildings using various installation methods.
  • Draft proof houses to reduce air leakage and improve energy efficiency.
  • Assist with installing high-efficiency bathroom fans.
  • Familiarize yourself with local building codes and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, sometimes taking on a leadership role to complete or coordinate tasks.
  • Maintain knowledge of safety procedures and train new workers on job responsibilities, safety measures, and company policies.
  • Determine the most suitable residential insulation requirements based on project site and regional building code/program requirements.
  • Operate equipment and machinery, ensuring ongoing maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Support office and management teams by coordinating work schedules, activities, and inventory management.
  • Order supplies as required to maintain a well-stocked workspace.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum 1-3 years of relevant industry or residential construction experience.
  • Proven insulation installation experience.
  • Experience working at heights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An ability to work professionally and positively with customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A valid British Columbia driving license is required.
  • Experience driving a three-ton truck is an asset.
  • Familiarity with safe power tools usage.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A base hourly rate of $30.25 CAD.

Estimated Salary Range:

$42,984 - $69,534 per annum, based on a 40-hour workweek and assuming overtime opportunities.
