Clearesult is a leading provider of residential energy efficiency upgrades. As a Technical Installation Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping customers improve the energy efficiency of their homes.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Residential Energy Efficiency Installation Professional. This role involves conducting installations of residential energy efficiency upgrades, providing technical advice and guidance, and interacting with customers to facilitate installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel throughout a defined territory to conduct scheduled appointments and installations.
  • Interact with customers to provide product education, energy saving tips, and facilitate installations.
  • Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve issues related to insulation installation, draft proofing, and high-efficiency gas furnace and heat pump installations.
  • Apply and secure insulation in residential buildings using various installation methods.
  • Draft proof houses to reduce air leakage.
  • Assist with installing new high-efficiency bathroom fans.
  • Fit insulation around obstructions and between studs and joists, install vapor barriers.
  • Work within a team, occasionally acting as a team lead to complete or coordinate work.
  • Be knowledgeable about safety procedures and instruct and train new workers on job responsibilities, safety measures, and company rules and regulations.
  • Determine the appropriate residential insulation requirements based on project site and building code/program requirements per region and job location.
  • Operate equipment and machinery and ensure ongoing maintenance and repair work as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years relevant industry or residential construction experience.
  • Insulation installation experience.
  • Roofing experience.
  • Experience and comfort working at heights.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • An ability to interact professionally and positively with customers and co-workers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid British Columbia driving license required.
  • Experience driving a three-ton truck is an asset.
  • Knowledge of safe power tools usage.

Compensation Package

The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $42.84 CAD, minimum of $30.25 CAD per hour, and be eligible for overtime pay. Other benefits include:
