Job SummaryWe are seeking an accomplished Transmission Line Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities- Design safe engineering solutions through analysis and interpretation of specifications for medium complexity utilities projects.
- Collaborate with project/operations management to ensure safety, cost, quality, and schedule targets are met by proposing plan changes and recommending contractor payments.
- Resolve highly technical and unusual design and field engineering problems through independent studies and analysis.
- Contribute to CIMA+'s engineering practices by conducting studies, developing technical standards, and providing guidance to other engineers.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by defining engineering scope with clients and assessing progress against standards and objectives.
- University Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in transmission projects.
- Registered member of a Professional Engineering association in BC/Canada, or eligible for registration in BC.
- Proficient in design/analysis software and CAD systems, along with familiarity of drawing standards.
- Excellent communication abilities in English – written and verbal.
- A competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 based on your experience, training, skills, and internal equity.
