Job Summary:

Boeing Canada is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Structure Technician to join our team in Petawawa, Canada. As an Aircraft Structure Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and modifying aircraft systems, as well as troubleshooting complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, disassemble, and modify aircraft systems
  • Correct failures and implement changes
  • Configure aircraft and bench test equipment
  • Troubleshoot complex systems
  • Perform validation/verification testing
  • Document procedures and establish processes
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations
  • Inspect components and verify repairs
  • Work under general direction and interface with On-Site Program Management

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience with sheet metal work
  • 1+ years' experience with composite repair
  • 1+ years' experience with painting aircraft/components
  • FAA Airframe/Powerplant (A&P) mechanics license, Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license, or Military equivalent
  • Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force operations and aircraft maintenance practices
  • Canadian Secret Level II Security Clearance
  • Eligibility to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-year experience as an Aircraft Certification Authority (or Military Equivalent)
  • DRMIS experience
  • Completion of a composites repair course
  • Current Canadian Secret Clearance
