About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team at Engineering Search Firm Inc. as a System Technical Lead. This is a key leadership position that requires advanced technical expertise and experience in systems engineering, product development, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development of complex systems and products, ensuring that they meet customer requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  2. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system requirements, design documents, and test plans.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and testing, to ensure that systems are properly integrated and meet customer requirements.
  4. Perform risk assessment and mitigation, ensuring that potential issues are identified and addressed early in the development process.
  5. Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that systems meet customer requirements and are delivered with high quality.
  6. Lead technical investigations, integration development, and program review meetings to ensure that systems are properly developed and delivered.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure that customer requirements are met and that systems are properly developed and delivered.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of related experience with embedded control systems, preferably in the commercial aviation industry for Engines, Nose Wheel Steering, and Landing Gear control.
  3. Competence in ARP4754A, ARP4761 processes.
  4. Competence in DO-160, DO-178, DO-254 processes.
  5. Experience in requirements management tools such as DOORS, ReqView etc.
  6. Competence in avionics/aerospace product development and project engineering principles, methods and practices including knowledge of Configuration Management and Quality Assurance practice.
  7. Must be eligible to meet requirements of CGP (or ITAR if required by a project).
  8. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail.
