About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team at Engineering Search Firm Inc. as a System Technical Lead. This is a key leadership position that requires advanced technical expertise and experience in systems engineering, product development, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of complex systems and products, ensuring that they meet customer requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system requirements, design documents, and test plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and testing, to ensure that systems are properly integrated and meet customer requirements.
- Perform risk assessment and mitigation, ensuring that potential issues are identified and addressed early in the development process.
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that systems meet customer requirements and are delivered with high quality.
- Lead technical investigations, integration development, and program review meetings to ensure that systems are properly developed and delivered.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure that customer requirements are met and that systems are properly developed and delivered.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience with embedded control systems, preferably in the commercial aviation industry for Engines, Nose Wheel Steering, and Landing Gear control.
- Competence in ARP4754A, ARP4761 processes.
- Competence in DO-160, DO-178, DO-254 processes.
- Experience in requirements management tools such as DOORS, ReqView etc.
- Competence in avionics/aerospace product development and project engineering principles, methods and practices including knowledge of Configuration Management and Quality Assurance practice.
- Must be eligible to meet requirements of CGP (or ITAR if required by a project).
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail.
