Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Chateau Glengarry Retirement Living Center. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility.
  • Administer medications and provide wound care as required.
  • Assist with household chores, such as laundry and cleaning.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to residents.
Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and empathy to residents and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of resident care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Immunization records and a Vulnerable Sector Check.
