About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Premium Sweets & Desserts Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules

You will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient methods to meet our work schedules, ensuring that our staff are well-trained and equipped to handle the demands of our fast-paced environment.

Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff

You will oversee the activities of our staff, including preparing and portioning food, and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.

Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures

You will be responsible for training our staff in their job duties, as well as ensuring that they are aware of our sanitation and safety procedures.

Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation

You will be responsible for estimating the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet our customers' demands.

Hire Food Service Staff

You will be responsible for hiring and managing our food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team to deliver exceptional service.

Ensure Quality Control Standards

You will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet our high quality control standards, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience.

Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates

You will be responsible for preparing budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively.

Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns

You will be responsible for addressing any customer complaints or concerns, ensuring that we provide exceptional customer service.

Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of our stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have a clear understanding of our operations.

Prepare and Submit Reports

You will be responsible for preparing and submitting regular reports, ensuring that our management team is informed of our operations.

Prepare Food Order Summaries for Chef

You will be responsible for preparing food order summaries for our chef, ensuring that they have the information they need to deliver exceptional food.

Supervise and Check Delivery of Food Trolleys

You will be responsible for supervising and checking the delivery of our food trolleys, ensuring that they are delivered to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Establish Work Schedules

You will be responsible for establishing work schedules for our staff, ensuring that we have a well-organized and efficient operation.

Requirements
  • 5-10 Years of Experience

You will have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a food service establishment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and high-quality food.

Excellent Communication Skills

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively communicate with our staff, customers, and management team.

Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment

You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm, and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Ability to Supervise and Train Staff

You will have the ability to supervise and train our staff, ensuring that they are well-equipped to deliver exceptional service and high-quality food.

Knowledge of Food Safety and Sanitation Procedures

You will have a thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, and be able to ensure that our staff are aware of these procedures.

Ability to Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates

You will have the ability to prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
